WAMFEST 2013 Continues Today, Tues the 29th, with Loudon Wainwright III, Maggie Renzi, Joe Lovett, and more!

10/29/13 PosterThe Appalachian Heritage continues today at 1 pm with a screening of the historic movie Matewan in Dreyfuss Hall (Room 125, Madison Campus).  Immediately afterward, Artist-in-Residence Wesley Stace will lead a discussion with producer Maggie Renzi and production designer Nora Chavooshian.  But don’t worry if you’re working all afternoon, the fun doesn’t stop there!  Award-winning journalist Bob Hennelly interviews environmental advocate Joe Lovett of Appalachian Mountain Advocates at 7 pm in Lenfell Hall, followed by a conversation and performance with heralded folk singer Loudon Wainwright III (pictured), also hosted by the lovely Wesley Stace.
